The Great British Food Festival – 2018
The Great British Food Festival established many years ago by our friends at Onionring Restaurant Guide with one event at Walton Gardens just outside Warrington and has steadily grown to now host 12 locations on the 2018 calendar.
One of the event organisers, Daniel Maycock says, “this year will be better and bigger than ever before ‘We are always keen to keep pushing the events on year on year, with that in mind we have added a Bake Stage at each event, which is more interactive and relaxed than the main stage, as well as a Drinks ‘Masterglass’ stage, where we will do tastings and talks. All included in the entry price. We hope to offer a fun foodie day out for the whole family.’”
The events which take the best elements of a food and drink festival and combines it with our love of fantastic heritage buildings and venues around the UK, have announced three new venues for this year; Bodelwyddan Castle in North Wales (30th June – 1st July), Chiswick House in London (10th August- 12th August) and Floors Castle in the Scottish Boarders (8th-9th September).
Locations this year are:
- Hardwich Hall
- Weston Park
- Harewood House
- Bodelwyddan Castle
- Kelmarsh Hall
- Chiswick House & Gardens
- Bowood House
- Stoneyhurst College
- Floors Castle
- Arley Hall

The highlight for many people are the fantastic chefs who will be demoing their skills on the main stages throughout each weekend. You can expect to see ex Bake Off Stars such as Francis Quinn, Luis Troyano, Jane Beedle, Sandy Docherty and Howard Middleton.
